A LIMITED PALETTE

For May's show at Axis, I decided to add my version of still life to my body of work. These pieces are all automobile light bulbs and tools on velvet backgrounds. On top of that, I decided to use only four colors ( Indian Yellow, Moonglow, Sepia and Brilliant Yellow Extra Pale ) in thin layers and glazes to build up new colors as well as unify all the pieces in this series.
