LOADING IN

My show at SAM Gallery is almost ready to close and it went great. But one of my most favorite parts of a show at SAM is the load-in. I pack up the truck at my house. Each painting is layered between blankets for the ride. When I get downtown, I get to pull in to the loading dock driveway for the museum —and this is my favorite part. When you drive in there, you're where all the art delivery trucks go, where every big fancy show has been loaded in. Then the big rolling door opens and out comes the art cart...
