WESTWARD HO!
Except we took a slight detour east first.
We loaded up the new truck ( named Sharkie ) at the end of February. We did a pretty good job too —considering that we lost a significant amount of storage. But John made a new art rack on the fly in the Home Depot parking lot and we were able to fit everything in.
We headed east to Florida. East to visit John's parents, east to get some signs and east to visit friends.
A quick turnaround and back through New Orleans for a night, back into Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.
Sometimes we revisited the same signs—trying to get lucky and get better light than the first time through. A mission everyday, but campsites at night.
And I think John is ready to move to the woods....
