NEW WEBSITE
Just before my show in April I was going about my regular website updates, uploading all the new work to my homepage for people to see. But then I hit the end of my template. I didn’t know I could do that, but I had maxed out the amount of images I could upload.
Uh-oh.
Now I can be very susceptible to technology. Especially when I am in a time crunch. This was about to be one of those times. I had to decide to either reorganize my current site or start over with a new template. Time to start looking through templates.
I found one I thought would work and started building new pages, organizing work and shows and checking links. The scariest part was pushing the button to set as a new LIVE website, but turns out it wasn’t even bad!
My old site is still somewhere ( or at least the pages are? ), but now I was able to do a little house cleaning and tidying up. As soon as the new page was live I set about tweaking little things. That part was fun! — like rearranging a room. And now I have a brand new site.
From now on ( or at least until I decide to change my template again ) all my paintings are grouped into shows. And now I won’t run out of gallery space.
How many images can fit in a gallery you ask? That number is 250,
so I think I’m safe. But I am still susceptible to technology and every once in awhile I get some glitches here—so I thank you for your patience.
Please visit the homepage if you have a minute and check it out!
