DOMILISE'S
It normally takes a week to settle in down here, to find a rhythm. This week has been a little harder, but when it's 75+ degrees in December, you just have to get on your bike and ride. You ride to Audubon Park, to the grocery store, the post office and—of course—to Domilise's. Eating a roast beef poboy ( dressed with cheese ) is the perfect medicine.
I don't know how many years we've been coming here, but it's always been the reset button. You are now back in New Orleans.
Domilise's, Le Bon Temps, Kingpin and Audubon Park. We are back in business.
