RIVER CITY

It is with a heavy heart that I write this post. We lost Gus on our way home from a vet appointment at LSU on December 28th, 2015. He fought a great fight. Everybody always says that, but he really did. He never lost his personality and continued to take part in household conversations even when he wasn't walking around. In the end, the decision was made for us because his heart just gave out. 

We took Gus to the river on Christmas Eve ( along with a couple daiquiris because it was well over 80 degrees ). I'm glad we had that day together.
