TWELFTH NIGHT

Twelfth Night is January 6th—twelve days after Christmas and that's the official start of Mardi Gras season. While there's many festivities going on around the city, tonight we're at the Muses party at the Avenue Pub on St. Charles having drinks with friends and having our first king cake of the season. 

The city is now being decorated with Mardi Gras colors: Purple ( for justice ), Gold ( for power ), and Green ( for faith ). And there's a buzz in the air as all the krewes are busy with float preparations. I love this time of year.
