AN ART RACK IS ALWAYS CHANGING
Traveling between coasts to facilitate shows sounds fun. And to be honest, it is. Except for calculating the size of canvases you’re painting and planning their delivery. Luckily I have a real mechanical-minded, handyman husband. I know that the widest painting that we can transport across the country is equal to the bed of our truck and so I paint accordingly. My spouse is the guy who measures and builds and secures these paintings for me. And maybe you! This year we had a batch of paintings that were all 48” wide, so he built a rack to fit them all stacked—and—accounting for how much room we needed below, we strapped all these biggies in our driveway, complete with padding, bumpers and silicone sheets so that they would arrive safely in the PNW.
